The graphic designer filed for divorce from theHocus Pocusstar, 48, on Thursday, May 22, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents viewed by PEOPLE.TMZwas first to report the news. Gifford listed their date of separation as Oct. 25, 2023, in the filing, which also listed their marriage date as Nov. 20, 2007, meaning their split two years ago came just a month shy of their 16th anniversary. The filing also showed that Gifford is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son Jack and is not seeking spousal support. Representatives for Shaw did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Saturday, May 24. Prior to their separation, the Los Angeles-based actress last posted about Gifford on social media in July 2023. OnInstagram, Shaw shared a snap of the pair at an axe-throwing range to celebrate her 46th birthday. The previous month, Gifford also appeared on Shaw's Instagram feed, hugging their son in apostthat theRay Donovanalum simply captioned, "Father's Day 🥹."
