Silver, who plays Audra on the hit CBS soap, took to herInstagram Storiesto get real with her followers. The 33-year-old admitted she had memorized the wrong script for the day of filming. "I memorized the wrong episode," she expressed, adding that in true soap fashion, the episodes are being shot out of order. She thought she was good for the next day of filming atThe Young and the Restless,but that was not the case. The actress stated, "I was so good for tomorrow or so I thought. We're shooting that Friday. So, I am working on tomorrow's material." There's no question the schedule on soaps is beyond demanding, so it's easy to see how Silver could have had a mishap. However, she revealed there was more to the story. "I have ADHD. I have to have a color-coded calendar," Silver stated, adding it was a system she developed in college in order to meet deadlines. The actress has worked hard to manage her ADHD, but also knows it's a daily struggle. "If anyone out there has ADHD, you know the struggle. It's not something I really talk about a lot, but it's very much a part of me," theY&Rstar ended her message. Silver spoke out to help others realize that they are not alone in dealing with ADHD. She also wanted to share her work mishap with fans as she continues to kill it as Audra on the CBS show.
