"The whole time I had envisioned a big wedding," says Brooke, who had a guest list ready to go. Weeks before the nuptials, however, they both decided to keep the celebration as small as possible. "We both would've loved our fam there and some friends, but I'm forever grateful and glad that we did it that way because it could not have been more intimate and more incredible," she explains. Brooke and Bracey, 38, worked with wedding plannerKelsey Events, whom they hired in August 2024, and theFifth Harmonyalum knew she needed two things at the ceremony: flowers and a violinist. Chard Photo The instrumentalist played Kari Jobe's "Holy Spirit" while Brooke walked down the aisle and continued performing while they took photos after the ceremony. The couple chose Smith, 46, as their officiant after a long time of knowing each other. "We met him randomly 10 plus years ago in Guadalajara, Mexico in a hotel lobby with the Fifth Harmony girls," recalls Bracey. Brooke says of Smith, "Even before we got even engaged, I knew, or at least before we even had an intimate relationship with him, I dreamed of having him as our pastor to do the ceremony." Chard Photo "His words were powerful over us, and it was unforgettable," she adds. "We were all sobbing." The pair exchanged both traditional and personal vows, written the night before the wedding. "I basically stayed up the whole night writing my vows," says Brooke. "Then, in the morning, I tweaked a word or two." Weeks prior to the nuptials, Brooke and Bracey told their families they'd be eloping. "Everybody was supportive, and they were thrilled for us," she says. "They were like, 'Look, if you want it to be just you, it should be just you.'" Chard Photo Bracey adds, "We'll do something soon with them this fall with all the families, but we wanted to do this, and [I'm] so glad we did." The couple initially met when Bracey worked as Fifth Harmony's tour manager, and Brooke's groupmates have been on her mind. "They're the reason why I have my husband," she says. "That is something that we'll have forever, our love together and that history." As for the future, the couple is planning their honeymoon for this summer. "And we want to have our own fam eventually," says Brooke. "We both have a timeline, but not immediately." Looking back on the ceremony, Brooke wouldn't change anything.
