May sweeps are here, which means Bold viewers are expecting a shocking twist that will keep them talking for months. However, the most recent episode gaveThe Bold and the Beautifulfans hope that Liam won't die, and that some newfound medical miracle will save his life. While the daytime drama is keeping Liam's future under wraps, his portrayer,Scott Clifton, recently dropped a hint about what happens with Liam. Clifton revealed during an interview withMichael Fairmanthat the show isn't doing a repeat of Eric Forrester's (John McCook) health crisis story. "I don't want to repeat John McCook's wonderful story from last year. I don't think you guys want to see a do-over of that wonderful story. I think that would be the easy way out," Clifton expressed. Fans will recall Eric was near death in December 2023, but thanks to Dr. Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), a new procedure was found and Eric's life was saved in a Christmas miracle. Although Clifton knows how the current Liam story plays out, he's encouraging fans to keep watching because "Bradley Bell is not f--king around." Cifton's words are not super encouraging that Liam lives, that's for sure. The good news for fans is that Clifton has shut down rumors he's planning to return toGeneral Hospital.Clifton's happy atThe Bold and the Beautifuland hopes to stick around for a long time, which bodes well for Liam's future. All signs point to Liam somehow surviving his brain tumor, but fans must remember it's a soap, so anything is possible. Make sure to keep watching to find out if Liam lives or dies. Wendt played the lovable everyman and beer-guzzling barfly Norm Peterson across all 11 seasons of the NBC sitcom, from 1982-1993. More often than not, when Norm walked into the titular Boston bar, it wasTed Danson's dashing bartender Sam Malone who led the chorus crying out "Norm!" to welcome him. Danson mourned his friend and costar in a statement toEntertainment Weekly: "I am devastated to hear that Georgie is no longer with us. I am sending all my love to Bernadette and the children. It is going to take me a long time to get used to this. I love you, Georgie." John Ratzenberger, one of only four core cast who remained on the show throughout its 11-year run — Wendt, Danson, andRhea Perlmanbeing the others — also poured his heart out for Wendt in a statement to EW. "I'm heartbroken to hear about the passing of my friend George Wendt," he shared. "For 11 years onCheers, we shared a stage, a lot of laughs, and a front-row seat to one of television's most beloved friendships. George brought Norm to life with a subtle brilliance — the kind that made it look easy. That was his gift."Ratzenberger's postal worker Clifford "Cliff" Clavin was Norm's best friend and faithful drinking buddy. The actor, 78, described Wendt as "a true craftsman — humble, hilarious, and full of heart." "What you saw on screen was exactly who he was off-screen with impeccable comedic timing and a deep loyalty to those he loved. I'll miss our conversations and the quiet moments of friendship that meant the most," Ratzenberger said. The actor joined Danson in extending special sympathies to Wendt's wife of 47 years, Bernadette Birkitt, as well as their three children, Hilary, Joe, and Daniel, "and everyone who loved him." I loved doing it, and he loved pretending it didn't hurt. What a guy! I'll miss him more than words can say." Wendt, Danson, Ratzenberger, and Perlman remained close in the decades sinceCheerswent off the air. The 2002 episode "Cheerful Goodbyes" saw Crane travel back to Boston, where he encounters Norm, Carla, and Cliff. "You were amazing this season, and a little messier," the Bachelor Nation member prefaced. "The first season you were just like demure and quiet unless Whitney walked into the room... I honestly respect how much you hate her, but like the trolling TikToks. Like, this season, you really did not back down. Being like, 'I can do whatever the f--k I want.'" Nick then argued that with Mikayla's petty social media posts, she might be "going past the point of standing up for [herself]" and instead ganging up on Whitney, even when the cameras weren't rolling. This is when Mikayla got the chance to share her side of the story. OnceThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesseason 1 came to a close, Mikayla said that Whitney pulled the victim card, "feeding into this role of like, 'Oh, make me your villain'" and arguing that the version of her we saw on our television screens was "all editing." With Mikayla — as well as the rest of the #MomTok members — knowing Whitney's true colors, she found it "harder to be quiet" when Whitney was spreading lies online about the edit she got on the show. According to Mikayla, "I didn't really have that drive to say as much until she brought like Mayci into it," defending her best friend. "She was posting Mayci's text messages — where Mayci was like backing her hard. Blindly almost — and I feel like that's when I got almost more defensive, because she was always a s----y friend to Mayci and I always told Mayci that, but it wasn't until after the show and she was like throwing Mayci under the bus." We tell her our issues, and she runs away crying and saying she's the victim. We're attacking her... it continued through season two. I had probably seven conversations that ended of the exact same way." Seemingly standing up for what's right and wanting to spread the truth, and nothing but the truth, we don't blame Mikayla for wanting to put Whitney in her place, even if that meant ruffling some feathers. PARIS (AP) — Police have found a bust ofJim Morrisonthat was stolen nearly four decades ago from the Paris grave that has long been a place of pilgrimage for fans of the legendary Doors singer and poet. The bust taken in 1988 from Père-Lachaise cemetery was found during an unrelated investigation conducted by a financial anti-corruption unit,Paris police said in an Instagram postMonday. There was no immediate word on whether the bust would be returned to the grave or what other investigation might take place. Morrison, the singer of Doors classics including "Light My Fire," "Break on Through," and "The End," was found dead in a Paris bathtub at age 27 in 1971. He was buried at Père-Lachaise, the city's cemetery that is the final resting place of scores of artists, writers and other cultural luminaries including Marcel Proust, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein and Edith Piaf. The 300-pound bust made by Croatian sculptor Mladen Mikulin was added to the grave in 1981 for the 10th anniversary of the singer's death. "I think it would be incredible if they put the bust back onto where it was and it would attract so many more people, but the cemetery wouldn't even be able to hold that many people," Paris tour guide Jade Jezzini told The Associated Press. "The amount of people who would rush in here just to see the bust to take pictures of it, it would be incredible." Known for his dark lyrics, wavy locks, leather pants, theatrical stage presence and mystical manner, Morrison has inspired generations of acolytes who congregate at his grave to reflect and sometimes to party, including a major gathering for the 50th anniversary of his death. The site has often been covered with flowers, poetic graffiti and liquor bottles left in tribute. He was undergoing a cultural renaissance when the bust was stolen in the late 1980s, which peaked with the 1991 Oliver Stone film "The Doors," in whichVal Kilmer, who died in April, played Morrison. London artist Sam Burcher recently returned to the now more subdued grave site that she first visited 40 years ago when the sculpture of Morrison was still in place. "The bust was much smaller than all of these grand tombs. It was very modest, so I was quite surprised by that," she told the AP. "But the other thing was the atmosphere, it was buzzing. There were people partying, smoking, music, dancing, and then I brought strawberries and kind of gave them out to everyone ... it was just such an amazing experience." Morrison cofounded the Doors in Los Angeles in 1965 with Ray Manzarek. Robby Krieger and John Densmore joined soon after. The band and its frontman burned brightly but briefly, releasing albums including "The Doors" "Strange Days," and "Morrison Hotel, whose The California site that gave that album its name and cover image wasseriously damaged in a fire last year. After their final album, 1971's "L.A. Woman," Morrison moved to Paris. His cause of death was listed as heart failure, though no autopsy was performed as none was required by law. Disputes and myths have surrounded the death and added to his mystique.
