Country music singerBlake Sheltonappeared onThe Tonight ShowwithJimmy Fallonlast week, and a new clip from the interview has people on social media buzzing. While talking to Fallon about a song he did last summer with hip-hop artistPost Malone, "Pour Me a Drink," Shelton revealed that Malone "lit a fire under him" to record a new album. He said, "This had been four years since I put out a record, so you know, I had the song with him, and I mean... you can't be around that guy without having a good time." Shelton then continued, "He's just so excited about everything... I was like, 'Man, what am I doing? I need to make a record.' He had me fired up again from that song." And that's where things took a wild turn, as Shelton tricked the audience into thinking Malone was about to come out on set to join him. But alas, Malone was not there for the show that night, which might have been a disappointment for some, especially those who were left screaming, thinking he was about to come out. People who watched the clip couldn't help but weigh in. One person said, "I would have been so genuinely upset." The least Shelton could do after pulling a fast one on people like this is to have them perform together again. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬
